Colonial Muntin Machine
GED Integrated Solutions introduced the new generation of its Colonial Muntin Machine – CMM 2.0. The reinvented CMM 2.0 adds cutting edge technologies in hardware and software to an already tested muntin processing system.
In the new product, the company has integrated maintenance-friendly, state-of-the-art controls. The new controls permit on-site and off-site machine diagnostics by taking advantage of the modern Ethernet I/O, as well as providing a long machine service life. CMM 2.0 can make five notches simultaneously with the ability to quickly interchange tooling for optimal production flexibility. The machine’s rapid processing time, from cycle start to finish, with or without the optional saw, is one of main advantages CMM 2.0 offers over its predecessor, say officials.
GED Integrated Solutions
GED Integrated Solutions is introducing TruWeld, the next generation welder. TruWeld builds on the strength of GED’s current welder family by adding several features that makes it the fastest, most precise and the most flexible welder on the market. Some of these features include: Servo-driven setting and heating plates; robust base, rigid beams, and weld heads; and configurability, as the product is part of the RoboFlow-PT system.

CleanCut 1700 Series
GED Integrated Solutions introduced CleanCut 1700 Series, its all new glass cutting and edge deletion tables. The new CleanCut 1700 Series—which includes the 1700 model (for cutting) and the 1700-D model (cutting and deletion)—boasts enhanced speed, updated technical features, and increased throughput while maintaining the options manufacturers want when selecting a glass production system. New technology enables the redistribution of energy for optimal energy conservation. The 1700 Series uses electro-pneumatic actuation to deliver precise amounts of pressure when and where needed for each glass stock in the inventory. This presents a signification glass waste reduction and an improved scoring and deletion quality.

RhinoFab 9500 - Door Machine uses an automated pushing system to move a door up to 51 by 108 inches through the fabrication center where it will drill, rout and countersink the door in preparation for installing various hardware. Through the use of the Studio and RhinoFAB software, the machine will lay out the holes on either the hinge or lock side of the door before prompting the operator to rotate the door 180 degrees and prepping the opposite side.

Erdman Automation Corp.
One of Erdman Automation’s latest innovations is incorporating a robot to unload the Erdman Dura and Super Spacer High Speed IG Lines. The unloading robot reportedly reduces the chance of injury from unloading larger, heavy IG units, but can also be designed to unload all IG units and reduce the operators on the line to two to three, according to the company. This allows for even greater social distancing.
